  • When to display the flag
  • How to display the flag
  • Respect for the flag
  • Take the quiz if you want some practice, but the online quiz will not count

Then study the information from the following links at the bottom of the page.

  • The Flag Code, from the American Legion, Under Americanism, read all 14 Frequently Asked Questions.  (You don't have to read any other part of this site.
  • The story of the U.S. Flag, from the Smithsonian

When you have finished studying, or 10 minutes before the end of class, which ever comes first, complete my test for this material.  Be aware that my test is 15 questions, multiple choice and True/False.  The online test will help you study, but my test is not the same.
